Bully sticks are made from the dried pizzle of a bull, in other words, dried and cured bull penis. That's right – a real bull’s you-know-what.

Did you know that the process of making them is actually quite similar to making beef jerky?

• First, the bull's penis is cleaned and trimmed. Then, it's soaked in brine (a mixture of water and salt) for several days.
• After that, the they are rinsed and dried in either an oven, a food dehydrator, or a smoker. This can take anywhere from 12 to 48 hours.
• Once fully dried, your pup can enjoy!
